Empathy....Do you have it?

Problem:
Many individuals struggle to feel and express empathy. A key challenge lies in the fear of engaging in difficult conversations— discussing personal feelings, showing up authentically, and risking judgment from others. This hesitation often prevents meaningful connection and mutual understanding, particularly in emotionally charged or vulnerable situations.

Solution:
To address this, a dedicated module was developed as part of a broader Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) course. This project assignment module focused on building empathy for oneself and others, while also equipping learners with the skills and confidence needed to engage in courageous conversations around sensitive or challenging topics.

Technology tools used in projects include:
Articulate Storyline360, MS Word, Snipping Tools, Adobe Stock Photos, Bensound (music), Audacity (audio editing)
