Sometimes, you need to create or edit a video—whether it's for training, promotion, or communication. Having basic video editing skills can make a big difference when you want to deliver a clear, engaging message.
Finding your forever home.
Problem:An Austin realtor was looking to grow her business by connecting with potential clients in South Austin. She wanted a way to introduce herself and make a strong first impression while showcasing the kind of quality homes she helps people find—homes they can truly call their “forever home.”
Solution:
To support her outreach, a promotional video was created. The video highlighted her personal approach, local expertise, and featured visuals of the beautiful homes she represents—making it a powerful tool for building trust and generating interest among prospective buyers.
Helping others learn Articulate Storyline
Problem:While participating in an online training program, a group of us connected over a shared interest in breaking into the field of Instructional Design. As we got to know each other, side conversations began to form—many of which centered around Articulate Storyline. Most of the group had never seen or used the application before, but were curious about how it worked. Since I had some experience with Storyline, I offered to give them a quick walkthrough. When I asked if they were interested, the response was an enthusiastic, “Yes, please!” It turned into a fun and informal demo where I was able to share what I knew and help others get a feel for the tool.
Solution:
Instructor and participant guides were used for the virtual-instructor led training (vILT). A 1-hour google meeting was held and Loom was used to screen record the training.
Learning about Non-Profits
Problem:At the end of each event hosted by Jamsz Konnections, the CEO wanted to capture testimonials from participants to showcase the impact of the experience.
Solution:
Testimonial videos were recorded and later used in social media posts and feeds to promote future events and encourage additional donations. These authentic, participant-driven stories helped build trust, generate interest, and amplify the organization's reach.
